Patriotism at The Post

Polo Field on Barnhardt Circle in Fort Oglethorpe, GA

The event will begin at 7 p.m. with a "Patriotic Kid" contest and the L'Abri Symphony Concert will begin at 8 p.m. The evening will conclude with Fireworks. Rock City’s fall attraction in the valley below Lover’s Leap: a cornfield maze that will intrigue adventurers. Challenge your skills with a visit to the Enchanted Maize Maze. Rock City’s Rocktoberfest

Rock City Gardens - 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Get in touch with Rock City’s German heritage! Rock City Square will be transformed for a celebration of harvests and fall foliage. Stroll through an atmosphere of German music and food. Enjoy a Bratwurst on Rye, Sauerkraut, Rosemary Roasted Redskin Potatoes Pretzels and German Chocolate Cake! Specialty beer will be on tap in the Beer Garden. Rock City’s Enchanted Garden of Lights

For the holiday season, Rock City’s Enchanted Garden of Lights is a family tradition. This year marks the 14th Annual Enchanted Garden of Lights, November 21 through January 4 nightly from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., except for Christmas Eve night. This award-winning, light extravaganza features more than 25 holiday scenes and nearly a million lights that transform the gardens’ natural daytime splendor into a nocturnal fantasyland. Candlelight Tours of the Gordon Lee Mansion

Gordon Lee Mansion

Visit the Mansion as it is decorated with period decorations from the antebellum period and lit by candlelight as it would have been in 1863.. Hot Cider and Cookies will be served in the warming kitchen. Visit with Congressman Gordon Lee as he was in 1926 in the library. Re-enactors on the lawn as they were at Christmas in 1863.
