Georgia Northwestern Technical College Youth Services Instructor
Description: Georgia Northwestern Technical College is seeking a qualified candidate for the full-time position of Youth Services Instructor.
This position is grant funded and will be located on the Walker County campus. Under minimum supervision and would provide classroom training activities
leading to a GED; identify supplemental training resources volunteers and/or mentors to enhance classroom activities and assist registrants in successful
program completion; ensure objectives of the
Youth Services Program are being met and documented in the Georgia Workforce System.
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor\'s Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, or a related field from an accredited post-secondary institution; a minimum of two years experience in providing services to targeted youth population or other special populations; experience in workshop facilitation, case management, career guidance, and/or utilization of interpersonal skills at various levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
In addition to the minimum qualifications the ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, have experience with adolecents, have the ability to work as a team collaborator, and is committed to creativity and innovation in job skills education.
