Walker County Citizen of the Year

The Citizen of the Year Award is always given to any resident of Walker County who has performed meritorious service above and beyond what would be expected of a citizen. This extraordinary service is either through their regular vocation or in the community outside their vocation, or a combination of both.

Consideration for the award is based on accomplishments and meritorious service performed during the last five years.

The award is given anually at the Gala.
